Itay Noy Part Time Watch
In a studio in Tel-Aviv, the creative mind of Itay Noy conceives made-to-order timepieces that are sure to catch the eye. His latest offering C displayed at Baselworld 2015 C is the Itay Noy Part Time. Available in four color schemes, limited to 24 pieces each, the concept of the Itay Noy Part Time is simple: the dial is divided into two parts, one for the day, one for the night. When the day side is active (from 6am-6pm) the night side sleeps and vice versa. The temporal segments are split by a vertical line, running from 12 to 6 o'clock. Trade advice needed
The iconic Lange Datograph is within my reach but I have to trade in my mint 5110P plus 10k cash. The Dato is in mint condition but 7+ years old and has not been serviced. My 5110P has been serviced by Patek 3 years ago. Thoughts?
How long does it take you to set your perpetual calendar w/ moonphase?
I noticed PP offers several watches with perpetual calendars and a moonphase that are manual wind. Unless this is a daily watch or a daily task of winding you don't mind doing, these watches will need to be reset correctly before each use. Some enjoy setting their watches, but a PC w/moonphase takes longer. So just a friendly question of how long does it take you to set your PC moonphase watches? 2nd follow on q: While I'm sure almost all of us would love to have a PP perpetual calendar, would the manual wind PC give you second thoughts about a particular model and lead you to focus on perpetuals that are automatic?
