Hands-On: With The New A. Lange & Sohne Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase (Live Pics + Pricing)
This week in Glashutte, A. Lange & Sohne introduced the Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase, the first of three new watches we can expect to see from the brand at the coming SIHH in Geneva. We brought you all the details right here, but we were also present at the unveiling and managed some hands on time with the new Grand Lange 1. Read on for our impressions as well as pricing details. 2 OF 18 The moon phase display on the new Grand Lange 1 is situated within the familiar dial layout in a way that maintains identity while commanding attention thanks to its richly detailed execution. There is no real compromise here in the integrity of the classic Lange 1 design language, a rare feat for a moon phase. In the flesh, each of the 382 individual stars adorning the continually rotating disc create a life like impression of depth. 3 OF 18 The visible L095.3 movement is classic Lange in design and finishing. Equally impressive is the movement’s svelte dimensions. Th
Introducing: The A. Lange & S?hne Lange 1 In White Gold
In addition to the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, A. Lange & Söhne has decided to add a white-gold 38.5 mm version of the Lange 1 to the collection. The Lange 1 is already available in pink gold, yellow gold, and platinum. 1 OF 2 The new Lange 1 was released at SIHH in 2015, and was one of our favorite releases from last year. It was completely rebuilt with two changes to the dial: a thinner bezel and a slightly less pronounced “A” on the dial signature. They also added a new caliber movement, the L.121.1 manual winding movement with a 72-hour power reserve. The watch you see here is still the same with the exception of the white gold and added lume to the hands, which will surely be a big hit. 2 OF 2 Check back here for pricing and more photos, and for more information on A. AP ROO daily wear
Hi I wanted to wear my Panda, daily but afraid it get abused from daily wear, does anyone where their SS AP daily? Can someone show pics after a year of wear?
I need some 1968 speedmaster info please...
Hey all, I have a 68 speedmaster that was reworked last year, when fully wound what amount of power reserve would I expect and what time differences have you seen on your watches, say I set time to 18:00:00 and within 1-2 days with regular winding and not running the stopwatch, should I see a gain or loss of time within 1-2 min. or more? thanks for any input........ also when you pull the crown out to set time does the second hand for the watch stop [ mine keeps ticking] -Andy
My First Rolex - wahoo!!
So after many years of watch collecting I finally joined the family. I jumped around to different Rolex models and couldn't make up my mind. In the end the deciding factor for my first one came down to two important features. It needed to be ceramic so that it wouldn't scratch easy and the glidelock feature. My wrist is 7.75 and most watches I own are either loose or tight. Very hard to have that perfect fit and be comfortable. This will not be my last Rolex. Short list below of my choices: Short list (1 will be next purchase):1. Submariner (Date/ND)- I didn't want to get a Sub because they are so common and almost clich. There is a reason though why they are so well looked upon. ND was classic and loved the symmetrical dial. Date is nice to have, but I never use it really. 2. Yachtmaster blue dial- Gorgeous watch and is my second favorite. Didn't purchase due to possibility/likelihood of scratches on bezel. I like the PCL, but hate the scratches3.
