Watches NEWS
Will sharp edges last?
Gents, wearing my 15202 then other night I thought of a question. I had it on under a log sleeve shirt and leather jacket and obviously the fabric rubs on the watch. Over the long term, will this dull he sharp case edges? Can anything associated with normal wear dull the edges. What about on PM?
15400 OMW - what do you think about the size?
Yup, I have a tiny wrist. the case still sits within the width of my wrist but how does it look to you?Too big? or just fine?Opinions please. Thanks gents! (and ladies)
Deville Co-Axial Chronograph
I was wondering, why does this watch not seem to be very popular? Other than the Planet Ocean it is my favorite Omega and has classic looks. I have seen very few of them for sale used and never see any talk about them on the forums. Is there some problem with this model that I've missed?
BLNR in the Future???
Just want to know your predictions/thoughts regarding the future collectibilty of the Batman.....where do you think it stands in the Rolex pantheon or is it just a flash in the pan until the next big thing comes along?
Got my 16200 back from Rolex service... and it's super-broken :(
Really disappointing. I got it back two weeks ago and wore it virtually 24/7 without issue. I was amazed at the condition they sent it back in (it looked brand new).I was sick this past weekend, so it sat on my nightstand, which meant it needed a re-wind this morning. At around 2pm I noticed the date was off; it had jumped ahead a day. No biggie, I'll just wind it back, I thought. As I wound it back, the date switched at 7:55pm, rather than ~12:00! Uh oh. It also slowly crawled the date backwards, then snapped, as I wound the time over a two-hour span, rather than just snapping at a specific time. It was then that I realized the watch is actually running super-slow. I've lost approximately two hours since this morning (it was reading 12pm when it was actually 2pm).I called them and now I have to send it back. It's awfully disappointing to get a watch back from the official Rolex service after six weeks only for it to have these issues, especially after paying $1K to get it fully serviced
