IWC Three-Hand Ingenieur Sport Watches For 2013
Perhaps IWC's new 40mm wide Ingenieur dress watch was the most talked about new Ingenieur piece for 2013, but for those who like larger sport watches, these more simple-dialed Ingenieur pieces will fit the bill. Whether it is a phase or just because I like loud watches, I fully appreciate smaller dress watches, but simply have so little time in my life to wear them. When choosing a watch to wear on a daily basis, I tend to opt for three-hand sport watches that are at least 42-44mm wide. Knowing that about myself makes me pay close attention to those new watches that would probably see a lot of time on my wrist. At SIHH 2013, IWC debuted two such models, the Ingenieur Automatic AMG Black Series Ceramic and the Ingeniuer Automatic Carbon Performance.Both of these watches have a lot in common. Vintage Omega Seamaster caseback question
I had never seen such a caseback engraving before and asking if any vintage Omega experts might know about or have seen similar casebacks. The watch is in bad shape and looks like a a similar case as a vintage Omega Automatic I currently own. Mine is a 1965 and this looks like that era model. But it is not a dive watch for sure - looks like a model that fell between the dive line and the Deville models. Guys,I just got my new speedy today and need to add one link. It came with the three that were taken out. After researching, it appears that this is not something that you want to do at home as the pins have to be driven out and back in.Is this true or is there a way that I can do this? The only tool I have is the ever tried and true spring bar tool.Thanks!

Travel Kit
I had a sudden business trip to Los Angeles this week and decided to bring just one watch, with GMT complication of course. The beauty of the 233 with its quick change strap is the look can vary with minimal bother. This is a zippered pouch from a company called Granite Gear, not sure exactly where I got it. It will hold 2-3 straps, the release tool and a screwdriver in case a buckle gets loose. You can even tuck the watch in to place in the hotel safe if needed when going to the pool (yes, I know, that's why I should have brought a rubber strap too )
