Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph Ref. 5980 Watch
New Patek Philippe watches for 2010 didn't exactly make me jump for joy, but I did like the two new additions to the Nautilus collection. No new movements, but new implementations in the Nautilus cases. Here is the Nautilus Chronograph (ref. 5980 in steel and 5980R in gold), and I also liked the Nautilus Annual Calendar Ref. 5726 that I wrote about here. What I like about the layout of the Patek Philippe Caliber CH 280520 C is that is it is a 12 hour chronograph that looks like a watch with only a subsidiary seconds dial (more or less) - and is still easy to read. Pretty nice looking addition to Patek's sport watch collection.See my article on the Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph watch on AskMenwatches-dealer here.See Patek Philippe watches on eBay here.See Patek Philippe watches on Amazon here. Orient Disk Review
Today we have in for review the Disk by Orient, a fun and youthful watch with unique design elements that help it really stand out. The Disk makes use of some simple, but clever functionality on the dial to impressive effect, while maintaining a simple, sleek aesthetic. It further differentiates itself from other watches with a similar design aesthetic by being an automatic. More often than not, especially at the sub-$250 price point, watches like the Disk are quartz and marketed squarely at a non-watch enthusiast market.? Not the case with the Disk. So, for the more discerning buyer, how does the Disk stand up?Case: Steel with IP coatingMovement: ORIENT caliber 48743 automaticDial: BlackLume: NoLens: MineralStrap: Steel with IP coatingWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 41.4x47mmThickness: 11.3 mmLug Width: 22mmWarranty: 1 year International GuaranteePrice: $340 or $238 (30% off) with coupon code "wornandwound"DialThe Orient Disk features a rather unique and effective implementation of a sandw
Question about historical pricing of the Royal Oak on the pre-owned market
Looking to purchase a 15400 on the pre-owned market around the $12k range, and my question is should I expect a hit if I decide to sell within 1, 2, 3...years from now?Historically, have the prices of the Royal Oak continued to rise on the pre-owned market? What was the price 5, 10 years ago?I ask because I've seen the value of certain brands (Hublot, Panerai, Glashutte Original) decrease with time as their popularity waned, as compared to a stalwart like Rolex. Can I expect AP to follow Rolex or Panerai, in terms of aftermarket value over time?
What do you think? DJII + exp2 for AP diver
So my TRF friends, what do you think if I flip my 116333 plus a 216570 for an AP SS diver?
