Bracelet for Seamaster 300 2265.80
Hello Everyone - The first watch I ever purchased was a 2265.80 and I wore the heck out of it. After upgrading to a Planet Ocean, my AD offered to buff the scratches out of the clasp on the 2265.80. After about 15 minutes in the back room, he hands me my watch and it is completely polished. Took away the nice brushed finish and while many people say it looks great, I'm a purist and can't stand to wear it anymore. I don't like the polished look on this particular watch.I complained and got a great deal on a new Tag, but I'd like to get the bracelet either refinished from Omega or purchase a new one to make this look like new. Does anyone know what model number the bracelet is, or where I could find one online? I've found some that are in the $700 range (I don't think I want to spend that much). Here's an image of what it should look like:22658000.jpgAnd here's what it actually looks like:omega.jpgI guess I'm wondering if I sent it in for service, if they could get it looking like new
Need Help in the Right Direction
I am looking to add to the collection. I have two Omegas, two Rolexes, and some miscellaneous junk. My Speedmaster Reduced is nice but doesn't cary the Horological significance of my DJ. A TT Aqua Terra Chronograph would be nice I think. The Classifieds section in this forum is nice but a bit sparse on Omegas. Where can I find a good forum/site that will have a nice grey market selection?
My PO 42mm
I'm in love with my latest purchase. I had originally wanted a Rolex Seadweller. Truth be told it was a bit of a stretch at the moment and after trying on a few they left me feeling a bit cold. I stumbled across this beauty and can't believe how good it is in the flesh. The crystal is almost impossible to see, such is the quality of the AR and the overall build quality has blown me away. I have a Speedmaster Moonwatch already and this feels significantly more well engineered. Ok it's not got the cult classic reputation the speedy enjoys and is a completely different style of watch but I'm very very happy with this purchase. The display back particularly attracted me to the watch and I believe the movement is held I particular high regard (8500) co axial. Without rambling on too much, here are some pictures. It's a 42mm.

Odd change in P.9000
I have owned my 359 since August of 2010 and bought it new. When I set the hour, there was always a click every hour position the hand was adjusted. This morning when I was adjusting, it suddenly stopped clicking and became very smooth. The watch appears to be operating normally and certainly better for adjustments. It's easier to press the crown in now (it was finicky before). My question is, was it broken before or is it broken now? Should the hand click like it did for the past 3yrs or be completely smooth when adjusted? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
