It is January, the beginning of a new?year, and that can only mean one thing for us watch enthusiasts:?SIHH! It is hard to find an overarching theme for this year's show, but there seems to be something for everybody. There are lots of new high-end watches, such as the A. Lange & S?hne Zeitwerk Minute Repeater and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication. But there are also an equal number of more affordable pieces, especially from Montblanc, such as the Meisterstuck Heritage Chronometrie and Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum. Join us as we take a look at some of the interesting pieces that debuted at this year's SIHH.SIHH aside, another thing that was on the mind of many is the sudden removal of the cap of the Swiss Franc's value against the Euro. 25th Birthday present came a little early! Incoming!!!
And at last it is my turn! After owning and wearing a BLNR daily for a while now, I have been on the hunt for this beauty. It was initially a debate between the Rolex 116619 Smurf or this Patek 5711.After a bit of thinking, and trying both on; I decided that the Patek was the one.I liked the idea of diversifying, and I also would be owning a completely different looking watch.Once I made the decision, I started the hunt.A few weeks ago I messaged a really great guy on this forum, who has now become my friend, and he coincidentally had a brand new one he was looking to part with.Fast forward, and I am now over the moon!!!This is a gift to myself to commemorate a recent step in my Job, as well as my upcoming 25th Birthday.I am extremely thrilled to own such a stunning piece, and feel blessed to have this duo at this stage of my life. After taking the watch to the service centre to remove some links, the woman over there was very kind enough to give me a travel case. Some pictures to share,
441 or 505?
I currently have a Pam 311 and looking for another watch but can't decide between Pam 441 and Pam 505. Any thoughts, suggestions? Thx.
