Can a 16 year old wear an AP?
Hello all. I was gifted a 15400ST (black dial) for my 16th birthday, and I'm really in love with it. It's really great. But my question is, is it socially acceptable to wear this at my age? From my experience a Rolex draws too much attention for someone my age and the AP is understated yet luxurious. Is this appropriate? Thanks!

To flip or not to flip? That is the question
Most of you know that I've recently picked up a 5711 and I'm currently enjoying it very much. It definitely gets the most wrist time out of the few pieces that I own. I wake up every morning and head to the safe, look at both my Nautilus and my AP and I ponder for no more than half a second before I grab my Patek.I have not lost any love for the 15300 but I'm concerned that there are too many similarities between it and my 5711. So much so, that I would always prefer the Patek to the AP in any situation.So here's the dilemma. I've pretty much hit the wall for now on how much I'd like to invest into watches. I don't regret venturing into the world of haute horology but it has definitely limited me to the number of pieces I can possess at any one time. I'm also a person who craves variety and I'm always looking to achieve some sort of balance.While I'm very happy with my current collection I'm constantly thinking about what I can add/replace to have a more well rounded collection. Patek 5167R Decisions, Decisions....
Mates - I currently own a 5167A and looking at getting a 5167R b/c it is so unbelievably gorgeous. Does anyone have a 5167R they can post ? Any advice appreciated.

Incoming Day-Date
This is a watch I have looked at for a while.Lots of positives but for me I wondered if it was too ostentatious, does it suit me, am I too young for it.....in the end I was not sure but I pulled the trigger anyway and man am I glad that I did.It arrived yesterday, it is beautifully finished, fits like a dream and all my concerns were imaginary.In short I love it....yes it's bold but so whatAnyone thinking about one should go for it (especially if DavidSW hooks you up)PS it has already been to the gym with me!
