F.P. Journe Donates Auction Proceeds to Help Provide Homes in Japan
At Christie’s Hong Kong sale in May, the first all-aluminium F.P. Journe Centigraphe Sport No 001 sold for an extraordinary US$465,170, close to ten times its original estimate. The sale was to raise funds to aid victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The donation ceremony took place on June 3 at the Swiss Embassy in Tokyo. Gathered for the ceremony were the Ambassador Mr. Urs Bucher, Mr. Fran?ois-Paul Journe, Ms. Yuko Fukagawa from Christie's Japan, Mr Richard Bliah, founder of the Franco-Japanese FERE foundation, and the representative of M��decins du Monde. With its program ��100 maisons pour 100 familles', the FERE Foundation is constructing temporary anti-seismic wooden houses to relocate families that are victims in the northern city of Tome.Fran?ois-Paul Journe said: I am tremendously happy that the charity sale of the Centigraphe Sport will contribute to bring relief aid to earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan. Any info on AP's Next Gen 42mm ROOs ??
The current 42mm ROO models ( Panda, Navy, Safari etc ) IMO are in need of a refreshing. What will be the chance that new successor models will appear in 2014 SIHH? My wishlist will include more colors, FC and ceramic cases, in-house movement, a back display, option for pin buckle and lume. I am actually holding back buying a 3rd AP waiting for this. I am not sure what is AP product cycle. Perhaps those with more knowledge and experience collection AP can share?

New Omega Arrival...
After trying on a WSOTM, I couldn't get white watches out of my head. I wasn't really looking to buy a White Side, but wanted something similar. After banging around for a week was able to source both the watch on bracelet and the strap (the boutique had one in stock).I know it's not for everyone, but I think it's cool.

Hi Folks,As some of you I traded my 116610ln for a Tudor 79180 + cash 2 weeks ago. I had it checked buy the watchmaker of Bucherer Z��rich which is the biggest Rolex AD in Switzerland. Running within cosc and waterproof. But they could only teste it until 5 ATM locally.
