Watches NEWS
AP ROO Panda arriving tomorrow.
Some may know that I had a panda 18 months ago but I had a problem with the winding crown and I stated I’d lost confidence in AP. At that time I was a one watch man and generally a Daytona lover so this ‘minor’ problem made my mind up at the time that I was going back to Rolex. Delighted to say that my finances now allow me to indulge in a wider watch collection. I currently have a white gold Daytona and a new Seadweller 43. This is my non Rolex watch. It’s from 2013, just serviced and a 2 year warranty. Please don’t be too hard on me for an overreaction 18 months ago,My WG Daytona:My SD43:My previous AP ROO Panda:
AP RO 15300 - Polished or is AP quality not so great?
Hello all,I have had my AP RO 15300ST for about 3 weeks now. Amazing watch! But there's one thing, and it's a big but, that grinds my gears. All 4 corners chamfers are extremely wide and does not match the bracelet at all. Far from matching. And there's very little material above the screw hole if you compare to below. It's an F serie from 2009.Here's pictures of my watch:This problem was found by another dear forum member over at a Swedish watch forum and he posted pictures of his old 15300 as reference (I hope he don't hate me for stealing his pictures):A random reference pictureAnother forum members' polished 15300. You can see that it's creeping a little bit wide, but not nearly close to as bad as mine.Another forum members' 15202With these pictures it looks like mine has been extremely polished. But I made a google search on 15300's and found these examples:And also this 15400 that's according to the dealer, unworn.Although he mistakes his 15400 for a 15300 and somehow gets it to a ju
it must be..
Beer o'clock!Enjoy the weekend everyone
Does Four into Two make sense?
The thought is to sell my 5712G, 5167, Rolex GMTIIC, and Speedmaster Pro for a 5164 and a Lange Datograph in pt.Anyone want to toss in their POV on this potential move?
Trading my SD43 126600
Hello all, have a little dilemma. I'm thinking on trading my SD43 for a 116619 smurf I love the watch but I rarely wear it, and I buy my watches to wear. So my question is do you think I will regret trading it in? Like in 20 years when they are more valuable? Should I bite the bullet and keep it even though I rarely wear it? I have the 16610LV anniversary and I wear it all the time. Would never part with it. But I think it's kinda cool that I have both anniversary references. Again, thank you all for your time...
