Luminox Sponsors USA Olympic Bobsled and Skeleton Team
The U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Team is well on the way to achieving medal-level victory in the Winter 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, in February, and Luminox is a proud partner in the team’s effort. Both the men's and women's teams have been performing with outstanding success on the 2009-2010 World Cup tour. The U.S. team has collected 13 medals to date, five of them gold. Reigning World Champion Steven Holcomb contributed six medals to the overall count after adding four gold medals to his growing resume, and currently leads in four-man standings.Bobsled legend Todd Hays had to give up his dream of racing in his fourth Olympics after he suffered a life-threatening brain injury from a crash during a Winterburg, Germany training run. Nonetheless, he was at the Lake Placid, NY America's Cup competition to bolster the US team forward. Three On Three: Comparing The Patek Philippe 5170G, The Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph, And
There is something special about a hand-finished, manually wound, in-house chronograph. It is a category that houses so many of the timepieces to which so many of us aspire to own – and today we will compare three of the very best available in the world today. This original HODINKEE Three On Three pits heavyweight contenders from A. Lange & Söhne, Vacheron Constantin, and Patek Philippe against one another in several categories: design, finishing, wearability, and collectibility. The thing about this comparison is, quite simply, there is no wrong choice – we purposefully selected the finest manually wound chronographs we could think of – all priced similarly – to be able to highlight each watch's strengths and weakness, of which there are many.Have a look at our video first and then read on for the details of these three incredible timepieces. The History Of The In-House, Manually Wound Chronograph The first thing that one must underst
Anyone selling a FC Ginza?
Im starting to fall in love with this watch..
5712r or 5711
Hi guys,So I recently went in to my local AD and went on the 2 year waiting list for a 5711. I've been thinking in the meantime about picking up another piece. However, I've recently started to wonder if i should pick up another and get the 5711 or instead just get the 5712r instead. Obviously both different watches, but I'm thinking along the lines of the rarity and demand of the 5711 makes it special, whereas the 5712r in the rose gold and the complication makes it special. I'm new to the Patek brand so I'm looking for an opinion from the horses mouth so to speak. What do you guys think? Both I think can be worn daily and on numerous occasions. is it worth the extra and get the 5712r or waiting and joining the 5711 club with another piece in my collection? Thanks guys!!!!!! Watch sits off centre...
On all 3 straps I have my Pam sits off centre. My Submariner doesn't do this with the bracelet. Is there a fix or am I just too OCD?
