Max Bill By Junghans Watches For 2010
The "Max Bill watch" as it is known is one of the 20th Century's most famous watch designs. Clearly conceived by designer and architect Max Bill in Switzerland, the watch was a staple of goodness back when it was originally made in the 1960s. Since then you could buy versions of the watch in its pure form as made by German Junghans (who has many of their movements made by Seiko). For 2010 Junghans offers up a more modern, but still retro version of this retro classic. There are three versions of the watches and most exciting is their more modern dimensions (save for the still small manually wound version).The Max Bill watch is what you can call "concrete Bauhaus." My Pam (Q serial) is running a bit fast - about 7 seconds a day. Is this normal for p9000 movement? Also, with respect to self-regulation, which positions make the watch go faster, and which positions make it go slower?

Datejust 41 vs Datejust 36
Recently I've been thinking about getting Datejust 36. There is a talk that DJ 41 is actually not 41 but somewhere near 39mm. So, does anyone has both watches to compare? I would be interested in 36mm but if DJ 41 is 39, I might try that one. Also, I'm expecting DJ 36 to get the new movement next year as there has been no upgrade from 2005(I think). Currently DJ 41 is best bet but if DJ36 is getting 3235 movement, I will go with DJ36. The color I'm interested in DJ36!!
