Fr��d��rique Constant Official Timekeeper for Peking to Paris Motor Challenge
Fr��d��rique Constant will be the Official Timekeeper and exclusive sponsor of The Peking to Paris Motor Challenge, taking place from September 10th through October 16th, 2010. The first edition of this legendary classic car event took place in 1907. The idea for the race came from a challenge published in the Paris newspaper Le Matin on January 31st 1907. The challenge read: “What needs to be proved today is that as long as a man has a car, he can do anything and go anywhere. Is there anyone who will undertake the challenge to travel from Peking to Paris by automobile?”The route for the 2010 edition of ‘The Ultimate Driving Adventure’ runs from the Great Wall in China, through Mongolia, then briefly into Russia before turning south west into Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and via Turkey, Greece and Italy into France to finish on the famous Place Vend?me in Paris. Hi,I hope I can get some pointers from you Guys here!How long have the rose gold 15300 been in production?How can I tell how old the watch is?Do they have some sort of arrangement like Rolex? A series, V series etc..Any one got any pictures what the certificate of origin and booklets looks like when one buy the watch brand new?Many thanks for your help!

Fr. John's chocolate Speedy
Today I had the good fortune to meet Fr. John for lunch at a gourmet restaurant in Athens called Allen's. This is a new version of the old one which closed in 2003. A great burger joint.Anyway, I had ask that he bring his new chocolate Speedy for me to have a look. I sure am sorry he brought it! It is simply stunning! I had no idea it would be so beautiful. The polished movement is a work of art. WOW! I only had my pocket camera and the photos do not do it justice.I also wanted to show you how Fr. John stays fit and healthy! Cheers, Bill P.
