Duesenberg Circular & Rectangular Art Deco Watches
Good thing it is a German speaker (Swiss German) who revived the Duesenberg name! The brand with the same name as the classic car that almost epitomized F. Scott Fitzgerald era art deco cars has two new models that will come out in 2011. The watches are the Duesenberg Rectangular and Duesenberg Circular. Can you guess which is one is each!? The design really does feel as though it hails from the roaring 1920's. Why is it that the past always seem to be have been better than it actually was? I am really fascinated by the "grass is greener in that other era syndrome." Anyhow, let's focus on these upcoming watches from Frenkendorf, Switzerland (they also have a Austrian location).Silly little things like prices aren't known yet, but we do know that the cases will have materials such as 18k red gold, DLC black coated steel, polished steel, and titanium. In-Depth: A Visit To Kansas City For The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute's 2015 National Convention
The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute held its 2015 national convention in Kansas City last week and by all accounts it was a massive success. You may recognize the name of one of the founding regional guilds of the AWCI – the Horological Society of New York. Today, the AWCI represents America's watchmakers and clockmakers through a range of education, certification and business services. In addit

Pull the Trigger?
I have a chance to obtain a ceramic diver at 14,800 US. To be honest, I don't love the watch. If I bought it, I'd likely just trade it for a 15202st ultra thin via this forum. What would you guys do in this situation? Are the two watches of relative similar value where I could do this trade easily? To be honest, I'm a bit hesitant with member to member trades. Curious to see other people's experience here.
PATEK and Winders
I recnetly purchased a Wold winder and was wodnering if it is okay to keep my 5960p on the winder for a month while I travel. Is it harder on the movement to be in the position or am I being over crazy?
