Paul Pierce watch spotting
I was watching NESN here in the Boston area and saw a special on Paul Pierce announcing his retirement. Being a fairly new watch enthusiast, I did spot a special timepiece in his wrist. If it weren't for this forum I would have never noticed!
AP ROO Rose Gold Novelty 26401RO vs 26400RO
Hi Guys,Not sure if this has already been mentioned, while shopping around for the Rose Gold Novelty, I noticed there's a renewed latest ref 26401RO for this model.Dig a bit and found out that the differences between the previous 26400RO is 6 grams lighter on the new Ref due to small change to the middle case to increase stability of the movement in the watch. There's also small price reduction(less ~2.5% on retail) for this new ref 26401RO given lesser 6 grams of gold. Cheers
Mitsukoshi dial conversion fit issue on 3570.50 Speedy
Hi all. Recently I obtained a Mitsukohsi Dial/Hand package kit for a conversion project I wanted to do on my modern 3570.50 (watch purchased new in 2013). I purchased the full set of dial and hands in one bulk buy from someone who originaly bought from Ofrei but never got around the doing the project. In an email back it readsAs for the dial, the dial feet are mounted in the wrong place. The problem with the dial feet is that they place the dial below center on the movment (i.e. to far
Brand new 5164a in for service already!
Kind of bummed. One month old 5164 was losing 6 sec a day. Couldn't be regulated. Needs a full service. Even though its brand new it will still take 4 weeks minimum. Very disappointed. How did it leave the factory like this? This never happened to any of my Rolex watches.
