Corum Chronograph Tourbillon 47 Seafender: How The Admiral's Cup Lost Its Rank
My favorite family of watches in the current collection of Corum products is the Admirals' Cup. Based on a now defunct boat race, the original Admiral's Cup watch began in the 1980s and was the original yachting watch to wear on or off deck with your boating shoes and skipper cap. What has marked the Admiral's Cup collection for so long is the 12-sided case and the use of colorful boat pennant flags on the hour markers. The latter has been mostly depreciated as the colors no longer exist on most new Admiral's Cup watches. Many new Admiral's Cup watches are still rather cool. However, with watches like the Chronograph Tourbillon 47 Seafender (that in its own way is interesting) I feel like the original theme and personality of the Admiral's Cup collection has officially been thrown overboard. We actually debuted the Seafender versions of the Admiral's Cup watches when the Seafender 47 Tourbillon GMT was released in 2011. At 47mm wide, Corum decided it was fitting in the yacht watch colle

First post - Fell in love with a girl named Daytona but I cant find her
I've never been one to spend big on watches but through a friend who is an avid Rolex collector my interest in the brand picked up. I started researching the brand and the craftsmanship that goes into the watches and grew a deep passion for it. I was immediately sold and decided I need to have one but the problem was I didn't know which one, all I knew was that I wasn't going to settle, compromise isn't an option, if I'm going to spend the money I have to love the watch. I don't want any part of buyers remorse at the cost of saving a few bucks.I looked at hundreds to thousands of different online images of the many beautiful available Rolex watches, from classic elegant designs to the more sportier looks. Finally I came across a stainless steel Rolex Daytona with the white dial and knew right then and there that's the one for me. The same way I knew the girl I dated would someday be my wife. Problem is I can't find a place that carry's this watch. What am I missing ?Who or what place c
Is this Rolex defective?
Quick question about the screw down crown on a DateJust 41. When I unscrew it it turns counterclockwise. Now when I go to turn it clockwise to wind it the crown kind of pops out a bit more. It does not do this every time. So turning it counterclockwise does not always get it it to the wind position and it jumps out a bit more when I start to wind it. Does it about 35% of the time. This is tough to explain in typing but what I am trying to say is a new watch's crown sticking like this a bit just a matter of it being new? Again it does not do it every time but it is brand new from an AD from earlier today.
