RO Jumbo 15202 - wearability on smaller wrists?
Hi guys,Have had the 15202 on my grail list for the longest time and thought it would be a great addition to my Panda ROO.. I have also heard many times how it would be a better fit for me than the ROO due to my small wrist size (6 inches)..Was thus pretty excited to try it on at the boutique when I found out they had a piece there available.. Was however disappointed to find that the bracelet at the lugs were really stiff, and due to the construction of the lugs splaying outwards there was a pretty noticable gap between my wrist and the lugs even when I pinched the bracelet downwards to mimic it being sized properly..For my ROO I was able to circumvent the problem by changing to a rubber or a shorter strap.. But I understand there is no such option for the Jumbo..Any fellow small wristed owners of the Jumbo with the same problem? Is there any way to overcome it since sizing it will probably not solve the lug stiffness issue.. Otherwise I probably will have to remove it from my wristli
I feel the need for blue titanium!
I have become captivated by the blue titanium models and am trying to decide between the PO GMT, 45.5mm PO or the blue speedy. I haven't found an AD that has all 3 in stock and would welcome people's opinions.
AD Behavior
I recently purchased a BLNR from a trusted seller that I learned about through this forum and my wife took it in to an AD to get it appraised for insurance as I was working. I already swapped the band to a rubber b strap in order to save the original strap for one day when I pass it on to my son (it's a 2017 reference-his birth year) and because it's easier to sanitize in a hospital setting. When my wife went to hand over the watch for inspection the AD staff essentially scolded her for presenting them with a watch that had a non-Rolex band and balked about altering a Rolex watch. I mean, how DARE I change my watch strap?! He also scoffed at the fact that I did it myself--spring bars are complicated things for some I guess... They went on to give her a bunch more attitude and unsolicited advice about buying outside of local ADs (despite their having long waiting lists and no stock) and essentially called her a tax cheat for buying a watch outside of the country (I paid all applic
