Incoming! Can you guess what it is?
You know how some posts build suspense by saying something is incoming but not telling us what it is? And then we guess and guess and guess, with the OP teasing us with little hints?Yeah, I'm lazy and like instant gratification.Say hello to Louis!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How do you like this one?
Hi,I have been looking to add an Omega to my collection. I currently have a Sea-Dweller. So, I was thinking of going for a Speedmaster as I already have a dive watch. After surfing for a while.... this beauty sings to me. Always wanted a panda dial. What do you guys think? If anyone owns it, please post actual pics and also share your experience with the watch. Thanks much.
New Deep Sea - Blue purchased through TRF
Today I received my 2017 Deep Sea blue through connections of the TRF, you can never be too careful when purchasing a secondhand watch privately especially long distances. There're little guarantees on money transfers which many request this in the sale. But today I received my watch exactly as describe, packaged well and in new condition at an excellent price. A big thank you to Dickyb for his complete honesty and professionalism throughout the sale I cannot give enough praise.Thank you TRF and Dickyb.
Rolex Batman OR Rolex Ceramic No Date Sub AND Omega Speedmaster
Hi all,The following is my small watch collection: (1) A vintage 1980s Rolex DateJust with a white diamond Jubilee dial on a black letter strap. This was a gift from my wife. I generally wear this with a suit and black dress shoes.(2) An IWC 544401 Regulateur. This was a grail watch for a while. I generally wear it with brown dress shoes, both with a suit and jeans. (3) An early 2000s Tag Carrera on a steel bracelet. This was my daily watch for almost a decade. I would like to replace the Tag and create either a three or four piece rotation. The wifey has approved 8 - 10k budget for this endeavor. After a lot of research (and a few vetoes from the wife), I've narrowed my options down to the following: Rolex BLNR Batman (~$9k). I would buy this new as preowned is just as expensive, if not more. I love the look of this watch, as well as the GMT functionality. This would make a great all-purpose watch.Preowned Rolex Ceramic No Date Submariner 114060 (~$6k) AND a preowned Omega Speedmaster
