Wildlife from starfish to birds to tigers is a popular theme in this year's watches with decorative and artistic dials, particularly in Cartier's Cartier d'Art series and Vacheron Constantin's Mtiers d'Art collection. We've compiled a gallery of timepieces from the two brands so you can download these miniature masterpieces for your desktop at a size that does justice to their intricately executed dials. GMT 16710 purchase decision. Can you help me?
Sorry if this has been addressed already, couldn't find a thread in the search box. I have the opportunity to buy a 16710 (mid 90s) for 7k, watch only with a local jewelers appraisal. Not sure what to do, seems a bit high and also wondering, with all the speculation surrounding a possible unveiling at Baselworld of a new GMT 'coke' next week, if indeed a SS coke is presented, do you think it will affect the prices of these 5 digits 16710? Am I paying too much for this watch? Have not seen the watch in person but it's on oyster and I am pretty sure it has been polished in the past although from the pictures the seller sent me, it does not look overly done. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
