Who wears their ROO at the pool?
Hello... another question for the forum. New AP owner here... the 44 ROO in rose gold. Who here wears their Royal Oak Offshore to the pool? When I'm at a nice resort pool like in Miami or Vegas I like wearing a nice watch. My new AP watch would look badass poolside. However last year I took my white Panerai Laminor Marina 1950 to a few resort pools. I noticed after these trips that the anti-reflective coating somehow got permanently etched by the pool chemicals or minerals. Looks like water stains if you look at a certain angle... not very noticeable but I know they're there. I will likely need to have to have the crystal replaced at some point. Anyone have experience with this and their AP and anti-reflective coating? I'm thinking I can just rinse the watch off with bottled water and wipe down after getting out of the water each time??
Polish Electric Blue Bezel?
Any suggestions on polishing the bezel? I have some hairline scratches I'd like to get out. Thanks in advance.

I got the bug!
A watch for my mom
So, my mom passed away October 2016. I've been wanting to do something to honor her that I could pass on to one of my sons (I had previously inherited a 1680 from my dad who passed in 2005). After much research and internal debating, I've decided to go with an Explorer 214270 (current release). This is not a piece to add to my collection. My reasoning for this specific watch is that I believe this piece embodies many of the characteristics of my mom. 1. Simplicity, not complicated 2. Resilience (never gave up) 3. Dependability and reliability 4. She never changed or wavered over the years, except for her appearance (getting older) 5. Elegant and beautiful, even in blue jeans. Never overstatedWhen it really comes down to it, I don't care what anyone else thinks about my decision. But, I am curious to any similar stories that you all may have. These timepieces can be a statement piece for some, and for others, they represent different life markers for ourselves (They can te
RSC New York Service Estimate
Just thought some of you might like to see the costs from Rolex New York for certain parts for a 14060 Submariner. Ws surprised at the affordability of the bezel insert at $48. I don't necessarily need the extra link, but for $60 I had them add one on to the list. This is for an overhaul for the Rolex I gave my Dad in 2002 for his 60th birthday that I got back when he passed away in 2015. Apparently my dad had left the crown unscrewed and the luminous was damaged and cracking on the dial and hands.
