Magrette Regattare Tiki Watch
Magrette is a small independent watch brand hailing from Auckland, New Zealand. We have covered their watches in the past and they have recently announced a new addition to their Regattare line of sport dive watches. The new Regattare Tiki will offer a wider range of dial colors as well as case finishing in either stainless or PVD. The Regattare Tiki builds on the Magrette formula with strong and legible dial design backed by a sport-ready case construction which boasts 500m water resistance. This 44mm steel sport watch can be had in one of three configurations, a stainless steel case with either a blue or black dial or a PVD black case with a black dial. The very clean and straightforward design is supported by a double domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment and an automatic HeV fitted at nine on the case side (note: production PVD versions will be fitted with a PVD valve, not the stainless valve seen in the photos). Timekeeping is managed by a Miyota 9015 automatic
Photo Report: Inside Panerai's Flagship Boutique In Florence
There are a few stores around the world that any watch lover must make a point of visiting – Panerai's flagship in Florence is certainly one of them. The historical home to Panerai dating back to 1860, the shop was just re-imagined and expanded in November of 2014. Here is a quick look inside. 2 OF 31 Located in the Piazza San Giovanni, facing the city’s impressive Duomo, Officine Panerai’s historic boutique is now 285 square meters (the previous was 58), designed by famed architect Patricia Urquiola. Inside the duplex boutique you fill find a nod to Panerai's marine history, as well as many of the latest models. 3 OF 31 The Florence boutique has always been the emotional and commercial home to Panerai, and still today one may find a handful of watches for sale there that you won't find anywhere else, including this year's hand-engraved PAM604 Firenze limited edition. 4 OF 31 The façade of the store reta
Bring a Loupe: An Original Lange Tourbillon, A Tiffany-Signed Explorer, A Very Fake Universal Geneve
The selection for this week's Bring A Loupe doesn't have any particular theme – its aim was simply to find some of the coolest watches available right now. You will find one of the greatest Lange watches ever made; a Rolex Explorer with a very special dial; and an electric blue Memovox from Jaeger-LeCoultre. There will also be one Universal Geneve that you should not be willing to buy under any circumstances. And you will discover why a Patek was recently sold for 10 times its initial estimate. This is your Bring A Loupe for December 11, 2015. A Lange & Sohne Tourbillon Pour le Merite, One Of The Four Founding Models 1 OF 12 In Walter Lange's own words, the Tourbillon Pour le Mérite was the "technical masterpiece" of Lange re-birth in 1994. It was indeed the first time that a wristwatch featured a fusee-and-chain transmission, coupled with a tourbillon. And this superlative model is fitted in a case only 39 mm in diameter. The

DJ 41 chipped/scratched bezel. Idea? Suggestion?
Hi all, tried to ask the question in some threads but no answer, so I thought I start my own thread. I'm thinking to let go my DJ 41, but several months ago I dropped it accidentally thus creating this deep scratched/chipped on the bezel, hopefully, you guys can all see it from these photos. Anyone know if this type of thing can be easily polished? Or should I purchase a new bezel to replace it and then sell it. Not sure how much original bezel from Rolex, but I notice aftermarket parts on eBay cost relatively $800-900 for WGAnother option is, the main reason I want to let it go is due to the really shiny bezel, it's a little bit 'loud' for me, I also saw a SS bezel replacement for DJ, thinking maybe I can get the SS bezel and just keep the DJ, after all, I bought the watch when my daughter turned 1. Any suggestions appreciated.
