Amazon Launches Wearable Technology Store For Smartwatches
The Internet's largest retailer, Amazonwatches-dealer, has just launched a new section of their site dedicated to wearable technology with a heavy emphasis on smartwatches. The wearable technology pages introduce some of the newer tools that Amazonwatches-dealer has been deploying above and beyond mere product listings. Included in the section are buying guides, videos, and other educational items meant to help consumers make sense of the arguably complicated and rapidly changing available devices and services.Even though smartwatches and other wearable technology is arguably still a new and emerging technology, it is interesting to see how major retailers and brands are beginning to focus their attention on this upcoming area. There is even news circulating today that Apple will release their iWatch product toward the end of 2014 for sale. Amazon is not only offering the major smartwatch products from Samsung, Pebble, Sony, and more, it is even inviting new manufacturers to contact Am
Portraits of a Classic
Just took some pictures at a reservoir park with my new lens. Love the classic ROO on rubber strap and the telescopic peep from the long lens!
Looking to Purchase a Speedy
I am looking to purchase a speedy 311.30.42.30.01.005 in the next 6 months. Can anyone provide a good reference for an AD? I am going to purchase NIB with factory warranty. Not sure if I should go with a online gray market dealer or try and negotiate local. I have plenty of time so I thought I would start my research early. Thanks in advance for any positive advice.Jeff
PO Bezel Swap in NYC? Orange to Black
Hey guys. Im about to make my first Omega purchase - something ive been building up towards for the better part of 3 years (always thought id only be a Rolex guy, but here we are..!)I will need to make a bezel swap from Orange to Black - My planned set up is black face with orange numbers and black bezel at 42mm (basically a 2201.51), however, these don't pop up every day for a good price. I found a stella deal on an 2909 (orange bezel) so am planning on simply swapping the bezel to make my (new) dream watch. My questionIs there anyone in NYC (tried Omega already - not willing to wait 3 weeks) that i can buy/trade a black OME-082SU1702 black bezel from. Has anyone had experience doing this in NYC? Diamond District my best shot?ORShould I just go and buy one from Ofrei and knock this out myself? I have some mild experience swapping bezels. I have no desire for an orange bezel ever so would most probably immediately sell the old one.Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks and looking forward to joi
Pointless question
Just a pointless question that's been buzzing around in my head the last few days. Does anyone know how many parts make up a modern sub or gmt. I've been having a bit of a argument with my son. I recon about 120 inc all jewels and screws. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
