AP 26320 RG chrono question.
Just wondering if you buy this particular model on strap, can the strap be later replaced with the RG bracelet? Or the other way around?
Can you remember what started it all?
Hi all. I thought this might be a different type of thread. Can you remember your very first watch, the one that got you into collecting watches in the first place? the one that stole your heart (and money) Mine was the Breitling Chronomat TT which is no longer with me. That was back in 2007 and I've loved every minute of our wonderful hobby ever since. Why not post photos and details of your first and share with us all.
Vintage Philippe Anti Magnetic?
Last night I was talking with a co-worker and as he was showing me a picture on his phone and I saw a picture of a gold watch. I asked what that was and he told me a story about how he obtained the watch. It was given to his father in WWII POW camp by an Italian general. The strange thing is in the face it just says Philippe Watch not Patek Phillipe and Anti-Magnetic at the bottom. I asked for a picture and as soon as I get it will post it. In the meantime does anyone have any insight into what this watch might be.Here are some pics.
New guy here thinking about a 372
Hello everyone, I am a current Rolex wearer, thinking of buying a PAM 372. I have had a few Panerai models over the years, never stuck with one for long, but, I like the idea of the plexiglass and vintage look.I have good sized wrists...7.75 relatively flat, and have tried one on and like it a lot. Thinking of trading my submariner for one.
47mm submersible and 40mm submariner - a good match?
I am the very satisfied owner of a 47mm Panerai Submersible, however, I see myself starring at pictures of rolex Submariner 114060 again and again. My main concern is the size. 40mm is a lot smaller than 47mm. Do any of you swap between e.g. a 47mm PAM and a 40mm sub? How does this work out sizewise for you?Sporting my every watch: a 47mm PAM305Trying on a 40mm 114060 at the ADPS: DeepSea is not an option for me at the current time because of financial shortcomings.
