My ROO may be a keeper.
I put my AP Panda on a big test tonight.Timing my porterhouse steaks on the grill.Using the chrono. And I was able to see the time in the subdials. With my failing eye sights at twilight. The red needles on white tick marks stood out over the black dials.Passed the test. Good bear.
My Olympic viewing attire... OMEGA!
As I sit on the couch like many of you viewing the Olympic games supporting our respected countries athletes, I am also enjoying all the OMEGA banners and logos throughout the venues. Here are my OMEGA timepieces that I am wearing proudly as I watch the games... also wearing my OMEGA red hat the OMEGA sent me.
Popped into Geneva Salon for 5320 and 5131P
I wanted to have a quick look at some strap options for the 5320 and I am glad I saw the watch again. Think it's absolutely gorgeous. I think you will be intrigued by the strap choice which I will post in September I went into the salon with every intention to hate the bracelet on the 5131P. In fact I was convinced that it needed to go on a strap!! Gotta admit I was wrong. The watch us really gorgeous and the weight is significant. It feels even heavier than my 5711P. hand winding
I recently purchased a new PAM 537 GMT 42mm. I love this watch!!!! My question to the experts is; is it ok to wind the watch when the lever is in the closed position? Thanks in advanced. Sorry Wrong forum!!!!!Moderator please transfer to the panerai section
Out of The Stickers And Into The Wild
For those of you who may have seen my premature Incoming thread (premature in that I was not ready to unsticker/wear) of a couple of days ago, I have finally submitted; I have unstickered, sized, and began wearing, my new Sub ND.I love this thing!Yes, the Pelagos will be going away (the idea to pick up the blue Pelagos was too good...I can't resist) and the Sub now becomes the daily watch for me.Early impressions:1. The lower profile of the Sub is very welcome; the Pelagos stands taller than I realized.2. The relative heft of the sub strikes me; the titanium of the Pelagos makes it seem lighter than maybe it should be. The Sub has more feel on my wrist.3. The cleaner/finer Mercedes hands are a better look to my eyes.4. The Pelagos lume is going to be missed; I wish the Sub had lume on the bezel!5. Most important for last: my wife likes the Rolex better. It's a great week!
