IWC Co-Stars in New Action Film RED
IWC Schaffhausen sees red in the new film from Summit Entertainment and D.C. Comics, starring Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, and Academy Award Winners Morgan Freeman, and Helen Mirren. Based on the cult D.C. Comics graphic novels by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, RED is an action-comedy about retired CIA agents who realize retirement may not be ready for them just yet. Willis wears the Pilot’s Watch Mark XVI Automatic in stainless, while Freeman sports the stylish Portuguese Automatic Chronograph in stainless steel with a black dial and black alligator strap. In the film, Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) are retired CIA agents, but the secrets they carry make them targets. Framed for assassination, they re-connect and use their collective skill and experience to stay one step ahead of their pursuers. Tog
Hublot Limited Edition Supports Medical Research
Hublot has teamed with the oldest automobile club in the world – the Automobile Club de France (ACF) – to create a limited edition timepiece to benefit the Fondation ICM (Institute for Cerebral and Medullary Disorders). This is the first partnership with a major brand for the ACF, which was founded in 1895. One of the founding members of the Fondation ICM is Jean Todt – a name well known to auto racing enthusiasts. Mr. Todt is the president of the FIA (Fdration Internationale de l'Automobile) – the governing body for Formula 1. The FIA is headquartered at the Automobile Club de France. Together, Hublot and the ACF developed the Aero Bang Drive ACF, a black chronograph with the ACF’s colors. A black ceramic case and bezel surround a skeleton dial, through which one can glimpse the movement beneath. A contribution from each watch sold will be donated to the fundamental and clinical research carried out by the ICM. The edition is limited to 250 pieces.Techn
PAM P090 straps replacement
I havent wear my PAM90 in a while since i have other different timepieces to wear with in a rotation daily, and i finally got that out of the safe & started to wear it again today; but i feel a little bit bored with the style now, and think of maybe changing the straps will give my watch to have a bit of a new look &/or add some fashon styles to it! IMG_2409.JPGIMG_7309.jpgIMG_7320.jpgIMG_7325.jpgIMG_7333.jpgI saw those straps from one of the sellers up on ebay, & they have different buckle options, like the bronze one & PVD, what do you guys think?.ebay/itm/111260291492...ht_1055wt_1238.ebay/itm/111260295222...ht_1054wt_1238.ebay/itm/111260297348...ht_1073wt_1238.ebay/itm/111260298606...ht_1073wt_1238
Incoming: 2nd Rolex (long)
We were pretty much newlyweds in 1986 when my wife surprised me with a TT DJ36 for my birthday. She had been socking away some of her salary for months to be able to pay for it without me suspecting. I was a little nervous wearing it at first for fear of loss or breakage as up until then, my most expensive watch was a $35 Casio. At any rate, it has been my daily wear pretty much since then. Ten years ago, I was in NYC and dropped it off for service and had the champagne dial changed to black (sacrilege, now I know).A couple of months ago, I noticed a colleague wearing a Submariner, admired it and thought it may be time for a new Rolex. Did some research on the Rolex website and decided upon a white SS Daytona. I think you all know what happened when I walked into my local AD and asked about it! After that, did some googling and found this site. Read it for a while and thought a Polar Explorer 2 with the second time zone complication would be my next watch. Went to a different AD in a m
Third Watch to Fill Out the Collection
After a decade of buying and selling my collection stands at two pieces of which I am very happy. A 38mm Omega Planet Ocean 2500, and a Grand Seiko 9F High Accuracy Quartz. I'm looking for suggestions on a Rolex that would be the perfect complementary addition to this group.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
