Ulysse Nardin Imperial Blue Offers Westminster Chimes and Flying Tourbillon
Ulysse Nardin has a notable history in chiming watches, from its Gold Medal-winning minute-repeater chronograph at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair to modern timepieces such as last year’s Stranger. At Baselworld 2014, Ulysse Nardin introduced its latest haut-de-gamme chiming watch, the Imperial Blue. The Ulysse Nardin Imperial Blue boasts not only a Grand Sonnerie Westminster Carillon which rings out four notes (“Mi-Do-Re-Sol”) for each passing hour and chimes the hours, quarter hours and minutes on demand but also a flying tourbillon with an eye-catching, blue sapphire bridge.A Grand Sonnerie function, which dates back to around 1300, is a rarity in a modern wristwatch, with only about a half-dozen manufacturers producing them, including Ulysse Nardin. It differs from a minute repeater in that the latter only chimes the time when it is activated by the wearer, whereas the former will also sound the time each quarter hour on its own.Among the technical challeng
15400OR vs. 15202ST
Hey Gents I need your help here again. I feel as though i may have made a BIG mistake. I just flipped my jumbo for the 15400OR. I haven't yet worn the 15400 besides out the dealer to my house, so i could possibly take it back and reverse the whole deal. Do you think I've made a mistake or have i just bought an equally special piece.
Thinking of getting a new PO.
Good day all, I was thinking about possibly getting a new Omega Planet ocean in the next few months (more specifically, the 2900.50.91 with the rubber strap). The thing is, I currently have the SMP bond auto (2531.80), and with all the hype of the new Planet Ocean, and new movement (Co-axel), etc. I figure I would try one out. You guys think it's worth it to get the new PO, or save my money, and just keep what I have (well, I'm going to keep it anyway lol). Any thoughts and comments on the PO are very welcome :)

Sub: eternal shortage??
A Forum commentator put the following: I'm looking to pull the trigger soon, and I have noticed that used 114060 prices seem to be more than brand newThis is nothing new...We all know that this is due to one thing friendsSHORTAGE .. and even if we do not like it, it is a reality. My question is for all Forum's friends:Do you think that the supply of the Submariner will ever be restored or will the shortage be eternal as it is with the Daytona?I was in a prestigious dealer in my city and saw lots of different Rolex models ... I think more than a hundred. I can also access the price list and it is impossible for me to count all the models. I suppose the idea of Rolex is to sell all the models that are produced, not just the sports ones. In my humble opinion I think the shortage of the Submariner is going to be eternal.
