Good day to everyoneMy cousin has recently purchased a royal oak in good conditons year 1975 serial B.However the dial is not the original and the AP is at twelve instead of six.Do you guys have any idea where we can buy an original dial?Your help would be very appreciated Thanks
Gareth Bale
Well the most expensive footballer in the world is sporting a Rubber clad . Great advert for AP. If he's not signed up as an ambassador they better sign him up fast. (C&P Telegragh website) Bale flew to the Spanish capital this morning after Real ended over two months of speculation, gossip and negotiation on Sunday night by announcing they had agreed a deal - thought to be worth 100million euros (?85.3million) - with Spurs for the 24-year-old.The Wales international successfully passed his medical before signing a six-year contract with the Spanish giants, where he will link up with Cristiano Ronaldo, who in 2009 became the most expensive player in the world when Real signed him from Manchester United for ?80m.
Should I have it regulated or not?
As most of you will know, through my previous thread, thanks to Brian and his relationship with his AD, I was able to buy a 5167A.Whenever I buy a watch, I normally check the daily accuracy rate to check that it falls within the Brands (not necessary Patek Philippe) specification. If it does then I tend to forget it.The 5167A is no exception, and i set it 5 days ago. To date it has lost 28 seconds, which is about 5.4 seconds per day. Now, I have had the pleasure of owning a number of Patek watches and so I know that this is not the norm.In the Old un days, on seeing a thread like this, you would advise the owner of their new (not pre owned) watch to give it a couple of weeks for the movement to bed in as well as allowing it to become accustomed to how you wear it.Is that still the case?Or should I get it regulated?Just to clarify I am not seeking perfection, we all recognise and appreciate that these are mechanical movements and some tolerance has to be allowed. But I would like it to be
Rolex owners q for you...what to do on AP RO
So my wife and i were shopping yesterday and she apparently secured herself a nice bag, Birkin. In her happiness, we walked into the AP store. I tried on 3 Royal oaks 2 of them were 15400, and one was a 24xxx with complications. I liked the silver dial 15400. This in not the ultra thin one. She had said I could buy the aP RO 15400 or wait for the daytona c and pepsiQ for you guys...1) would you guys buy the RO2) any views on it holding value?3) do you own and why have you chosen AP.I was also at some point hoping for a nautilus 5711
datejust II
New Member hereI currently have a mid 90s TT 36mm datejust and an older 34MM SS datejust. I am not attached to either of them and really am liking the look of the 41mm dates. I have a friend with a 2013 116334 datejust 2 with a diamond dark rhodium dial that he is looking to sell. The watch is worn but in very nice shape. He has not had to service it as of yet and functions as new. My question is what is a fair price range for this particular watch. I am far from an enthusiast and really don't have my finger on the pulse of what these used watches have actually been selling for vs the asking prices I'm seeing on Ebay etc. Thank you for any insight
