IWC Announces Ingenieur Double Chronograph Titanium
IWC’s Ingenieur family gains a rattrapante or split-seconds function with the launch of the new Double Chronograph (or Doppelchronograph in German) Titanium. The Double Chronograph case measures a substantial 45mm x 16mm and offers a satin finish. The caliber 79230 movement allows the “Doppel” to time multiple events. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. Outside, five screw heads on the bezel are DLC-coated to match the black rubber-coated push-buttons and crown protection. To keep weight and thickness in check, the soft-iron inner case has been omitted. The strap is rubber and the crystals are anti-reflective sapphire, coated on both sides. The back and crown screw in, and water-resistance is 12 bar or 120 meters. The subdials for hours, minutes and the small (hacking) seconds are recessed into the dial. The luminescent material in the rhodium-plated hands is black, but glows at night. The Double Chronograph has three buttons. Pressing the start/stop button at 2 o’
My first INCOMING!
I don't post too often, but am happy to post my first incoming. Any guesses? Here's a few hints:Steel, classic, and not a sub since that's the only quality piece I already own
Vintage Speedy
Hey all. This isn't an official FS: post so I am filing it here. I got my hands on a 1975 Speedy Moonwatch. The piece is in good condition overall. The exception being that the chrono doesn't work. I'm not an expert so I can't open it up to look. Everything else works great and it seems to keep very good time. Any idea on what it would be worth given the condition? I'd prefer to be wearing a Moonwatch with a few less miles on it? Is my vintage piece (with chrono issues) an even trade for something 5 yrs old? Thanks all. Here is a pic. Peter Gunny strap for the 422
This was the other strap I ordered for the 422. Picked it up on s Black Friday deal. Peter's straps are more rustic than Aaron's but softer/more pliable. Excellent quality.
Too soon?
Hey guys, I just purchased a datejust 36 a little over a month ago. I am now itching to get my next one, I'm thinking the submariner. Do you guys think it's too soon for my next one?
