Baselworld 2015: Bremont Jaguar MKI and Jaguar MKII (Updated with Live Photos)
At Baselworld 2015, Bremont unveils two new watches designed in partnership with Jaguar. Calling upon the watch and car brands' shared British heritage, the new Bremont Jaguar MKI and Jaguar MKII have features reminiscent of the classic Jaguar E-Type from the 1960s.The MKI and MKII are extensions from a six-piece limited edition that Bremont made last summer. Jaguar produced six handmade continuation E-Types, built to the specifications of the Lightweight E-Type of 1964. Bremont's special pieces were made as a complement to those cars. The new watches will not be produced in a limited edition and are intended to be more affordable: whereas the limited-edition Lightweight watch was made of white gold and aluminum, the MKI and MKII are cased in stainless steel. The major Jaguar features are visible on the dials of the MKI (small seconds) and the MKII (chronograph). Both watches were designed in conjunction with Jaguar to echo the car's dashboard. Top Five Useless Watch Complications
In the world of watches, "complication" is typically what functions are called. The more things a watch does, the more complications it has. Most of these are historical and have been around for centuries, proving to be useful and interesting. That latter camp of "interesting" complications incorporates a lot of potentially complex features that have arguable utility. Nevertheless, we still enjoy them for the simple effort and time required to produced and assemble them. They exist for the sheer love of things "complicated."Most complications are rather useful - even in our modern digital world. In addition to the time we enjoy having features such as the date, day of the week, more complex calendar functions, perhaps a second timezone, chronograph for measuring the time, and even things like the time all over the world. Those are pretty useful things. Then there are complications that while not totally useless, are certainly not very useful for the majority of people. We've assembled
Oh yes - New Pam000
Hi everybody,Just few weeks ago I posted my first Panerai 162 and already managed to buy second.I never imagined that will be able to wear anything but Sub but life is unpredictable and here I am.Last week my work sent me to Delhi where unexpectedly during lunch break I visited one of Panerai Boutique and spotted 000. Watch was still with the stickers absolutely unworn as according to the sales guy nobody was interested in piece which had no date and seconds .I was looking for 000 for some time but as it unobtainable in Singapore and Thailand I already lost hope that I will ever manage to find brand new one.Prepared to pay the ful list price I was pleasantly supprised that after bit of negotiations I was offered 25 % discount and 10 min later I walk away with this piece. Now initial impressions. What I like most is simplicity which is most welcome after one year of usage Breitling chronometer 44 GMT whith dozen hands and pushes. In past I was considering buying either Daytona or Explor

What would you choose as your daily? 2 options
I just acquired a 16570 L serial (birth year) with beautiful patina.Until then the 16600 was my daily wearer, every day all day. Between the two, which would you give more wrist time to?I was thinking of making the 16570 my daily so the 16600 stays in relatively good shape. But I'm scared that because of its age and patina it may not be as robust?Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
