So when the Speedy Tuesday came out and at about 8AM that morning, I was already going at the Omega website trying to secure one but was too late to the party. Needless to say, I was pretty bummed.Fast forward to January and I met buddy Mehrdad (Sarir97) here at TRF and knowing he may not want to keep his allocation, I wrote him and asked if he would sell the watch to me. The man is a complete gentleman and as cool of a fellow WIS you can meet. Mehrdad said sure and he would sell me the watch. I offered to pay a small premium to thank him for his generosity, the man said no need. I said, can I buy Peter Luger Steaks for the family? He said, no and no worries. All he asked for was a nice wrist shot seeing me enjoying the crap out of this beauty.Well, 7 months later, the man kept his word and it is just unbelievable. Can anyone recommend someone for a full service on a pre-coaxial movement?Refinishing etc? And any idea of cost?Trying to advise a friend to either send to Omega himself...vs go thru a local AD.

Panerai PAM 00088 Think I should buy it?
Hey Guys,I have always liked my friends watch (Panerai Luminor GMT PAM00888 model) It comes with all box, papers, and an extra strap in black. Its in great condition. He tell me he bought it new 7 years ago. He is offering it to me for $4500....I think its a pretty fair price... Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Im not familiar with Panerai watches in general but just love that look. Any cons on this model?Thanks!Martin-

Everyday or on occasion?
Curious if you wear your Panerai everyday or just for dress? I ask because I was asked that question while at a AD. I indicated everyday ..... Daily driver for me not just for dress up. What about you guys? I assume the watch is durable enough?Thanks

James Cameron wearing a Deep Blue
So I've seen a number of threads on here about James Cameron and whether or not he wears or even owns a Deep Blue. Many have suggested he only has a sub (the one he bought after giving away his other one) that he wears. So tonight, we happened to be watching a documentary on Nat Geo about Titanic, and there was JC wearing a deep blue. The colors jumped out more on the big screen then the iPhone could capture, but it was def a deep blue. So I hope this settles the debate for a few.
