Trading watches with Patek ADs
Are you aware of any Patek Philippe ADs in the US, Europe or Latin America which might take second hand watches (such as Rolex) as part of the payment for brand new Patek Philippe watches? Thanks
A Trip of a Lifetime Deserves a Watch to Remind Me!
I cannot thank Danny Govberg and George Mayor enough for submitting my name for this 5976 1G Anniversary Patek Philippe and getting the job done quickly. Everytime I wear it I will remember the trip of a lifetime and those who I met.
If there was ever a time to buy a Rolex
..right now would not be it Forget playing games and paying the premium..makes no sense to pay a premium for a company that mass produces watches. It's time to explore uncharted territories and new horizons until this situation resolves itself.
A shot in the dark
Last week, at the Costco in Los Angeles, CA, my grandmother lost her two tone, champagne dial Datejust on jubilee. Her memory has been a bit hazy of late, and she set the time but left it on her lap in the car rather than putting it on. The thought is that she dropped it in the parking lot when she got out. My grandparents can afford to replace it, but here's the kicker: the watch belonged to my grandfather's brother, who passed away from cancer in the early 2000s. Though he won't admit it (he doesn't want to make my grandmother feel any worse), he's devastated at the loss of such a piece. While I know this is a long shot, if anyone happens to have seen it or picked it up, please let me know. I'd post a serial number here, but I've yet to find any papers in their home with it listed. Thanks!
1st Rolex Purchase Advice.
Hello all, this is my first post and I'm looking for advice that's applicable to a first time purchase in the UK.I'm looking to buy my first Rolex and ideally I'd like the Seadweller Anniversary, if that's not going to be an option due to waiting times, a seadweller of any type be it the ordinary or deep blue. What I'd really like to know is should I expect to pay the rrp or as was the case when my brother bought a brand new navitimer he recieved a discount of 21% off the rrp.If anyone as any advice or recommendations of AD that they have had good service from within the UK I'd love to have your advice and experiences. Thanks Richard
