TimeZone’s Michael Sandler Joins Tourneau
Tourneau, America's largest watch retailer, announced that Michael Sander will join their team as vice president of strategic planning and business development, a new position within the retailer's infrastructure. Geared at promoting new brand relationships and developing new opportunities, Sander's addition to the Tourneau executive team marks another step in the company's strategy to re-brand itself. Sandler brings a deep knowledge of the watch world to the 111 year old company, earned largely from his role as the General Manager of TimeZone. Sandler is respected by watch brands in the U.S. and Europe, and his industry experience will be paramount in driving critical company-wide initiatives. I am happy for the opportunity to join Tourneau at such a pivotal moment in the brand's history, said Sandler. It is an exciting time to be a part of a company which is recognized as an authority in the watch industry, and which continues to grow and re-brand itself to the desires of the moder
The heart of the new Jacob Co Tortuga watches is a 24-jewel Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic movement
The case is coupled with a comfortable 22 mm rubber strap. The diver's watch is also accompanied by a more elegant brown leather strap. The price is 599 US dollars. If you wish, you can also get a mesh bracelet for extra 50 dollars. The heart of the new Jacob Co Tortuga watches is a 24-jewel Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic movement that gives an advantage of a 40-hour power reserve.
And In it Came!!!
This is the longest I had to wait for a watch. I ordered in Feb. of this year. I had considered the AP 15305 for quite some time in 2015 and almost pulled the trigger but they were not too easy to find. I saw one for sale from a Grey Dealer who turned out to jerk me around on the price--- telling me he had a new old stock for a bit less than original MSRP. This was what was advertised on Chrono24. Then he wrote back and said he only had a slightly used one for about 5K over the original list price. However when I heard about the newer AP 15407, I decided to wait. I guess the demand was quite high but was able to put a deposit on the last of 5-- the Las Vegas AP Boutique had coming for the year. Well I got the call last weekend and took delivery on Friday. I was hoping to get some AP goodies but did not. I was told if I send in for free 1st service during the first 3 years-- I get a 2 year warranty extension. I have not taken it out of its plastic because I was sizing the bracelet and b
Warranty Card After Service?
I just bought a limited edition SMP expecting a complete set but was surprised to see that the warranty card is missing. Can this still be considered complete? Seller claims that the warranty card was held by the AD and he never received it. He also says that I will get a new named warranty card if I get it serviced so it won't impact my resale value. Is this true? Didn't think that Omega would send out a new warranty card after service. What's the impact to resale value for a limited edition with missing warranty card? Thanks!
Tudor GMT - PEPSI or COKE
One of the things I noticed as soon as the Tudor GMT came out was the chameleon like bezel. I really like that the Blue turns Black at times. Its like wearing two watches at once. I haven't come across any threads that mention this. It a fantastic characteristic of this piece. If i didn't already have a Coke, I'd seriously consider this piece. I love the Coke, but about 30% of me that wants to buy the Pepsi bezel. This watch would definitely scratch that itch.
