Antoine Martin Slow Runner Watch Has Largest Escapement
For 2013, Martin Braun's watch brand Antoine Martin will release their third major timepiece collection with the Slow Runner. Martin explained the concept of the Slow Runner to me last year by telling me that he was producing a simple watch with a huge slowly moving balance wheel. He sure wasn't kidding. If you've ever seen the balance wheel of old clocks operating, you know that there is a sort of hypnotic quality to seeing them move back and forth at a one hertz speed. Martin has successfully produced that experience for a wrist watch.Antoine Martin likes to point out that the Slow Runner is a "true" one hertz operating movement. What does that mean? AP Diver 15710 white dial
Just got my first AP diver watch. I was planning on getting a black dial, but the white one really caught my eyes. Love the contrast between the dial and the surrounding darker colors.

15202 40th anniv. Jumbo
I'm currently looking to buy the extra thin 15202. I went to the boutique and found that I thought the tapisserie looked different than i remember from my research - larger indentations between smaller squares. The first picture is from my visit.I've also attached another picture of a jumbo that I thought was the current version. It turns out I'm not crazy - they have different numbers of squares if you count from center to edge.Are there two versions floating around? I much prefer the second version that more closely resembles the grande tapisserie, even though it's not as true to the petit version of the 1972 RO.Thanks in advance for your insight.

hi All, I taken a liking to a used 5070r, is this a good model to buy also a good investment.i know they are discontinued which i assume will add the the value.a dealer told me only 250 pieces made in each metal??what would be your opinion on this or other model to buy and why. Thanks
