Montblanc Prize Goes To Dries Verhoeven At Their Young Directors Award
Celebrating the fact arts an integral part of the current marketing strategy of Montblancs and brand persona. The Montblanc Prize project young directors took place this year at the Salzburg Festival, where several young (aged in his late 20s in the early 1930s) directors have been nominated for the award, which consists of an endowment of ?,000 and a pen Montblanc Max Reinhardt (specially designed for the occasion). As the price of leadership, not only the overall film, the judges emphasized the ability of the Director to work with the medium of film as well as connect with the public.
So glad I never Fell in Love with Nautilus
I deeply appreciate I never felt in love with this Genta design. People can have their taste. Fair & Square. Not in a +100 years I would pay the market overprice demands for a 5711 or 5712.For these hysterical prices there are +100 watches I would prefer to own.To each his own. So glad I don't see the artistic and aesthetic brilliance in the Nautilus.I see a boring grey steel 1970s Airport disaster movie with Burt Lancaster.
5167a -- Got bamboozled this morning!
Called an AD this morning to check on their Aquanaut stock (specifically the travel time, I knew 5167 was not possible). An enthusiastic sales guy picks up the phone, the conversation ensues: me:Hi, I'm looking for a stainless steel Aquanaut Travel Time, 5164sales guy: ok...let me check our stock, unfortunately, no 5164me: Oh, ok, when do you...(cuts me off)sales guy: But we have the 5167me: gasp...what? ummm ok, I'm getting in my car now.sales guy: perfect, looking forward to meeting youme: (got in my car -- left the parking garage and received a call back)sales guy: Oops sorry, the watch I was talking about is already spoken for, there's a 10-year wait list on it, its impossible for you to get itOk, I might have been overly optimistic and gullible at that moment, but when an AD tells you they have the watch, who are you to say, no, you're lying to me!! Needless to say, this left a sour taste in my mouth; if you were me what would you guys do? Probably not much I can do, but just curi
Weights for 351, 270 and 312 please?
If any owners could please perish their pieces, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking to retake the Panerai plunge for a 351. I've owned one before but was recently told the weight on the 351 is very close to the 312. I find that difficult to believe. I'm also extremely partial to the 270.Thanks!EverettSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
