Former Vertu Luxury Phone Designer Joins MetaWatch For the Meta "Premium" Smartwatch
It is 2014 and guess what, the people making smartwatches are about ready for them to become mainstream. MetaWatch is going down that road with a new line of "real people friendly" smartwatches known simply as the "Meta." The real question is whether mainstream consumers are ready for it too. 2013 was the year the smartwatch made headlines. We saw the ultra indie success of watches like the Pebble, and the big boys make a serious entrance into the smartwatch market with the Samsung Galaxy Gear and the Sony Smartwatch 2. If 2013 was the year the public became aware of the smartwatch, will 2014 be the year the public actually wants to wear them? There are two major challenges for smartwatches right now. First, is functionality and second is fashionability. While the latter might sound less intellectual, it is just as important because these are things people are actually going to wear. It is generally agreed that most smartwatches are still developing with regards to their utility and fun
Incoming tomorrow but what?

Hello, I would like to share my Royal Oak. I have been wanting an AP for 15 years, and I was finally able to pick one up. I am blown away, and I am already planning a few years out to add another AP!Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Patek resales
I hear people talk about the tremendous resale values (the best) of Patek Phillippe watches yet they seem to be discounted at grey dealers as much or more than some other high-end brands. No doubt very nice watches with a great history but where are the high resales? The older watches? Only select models?
Daytona C SS vs Sky Dweller SS
I've been admiring the new Sky Dwellers for sale here. They are interesting. I like the black dial --- not blue or white. But, I don't know what I would use that crazy looking dial in the middle of the face. How do you use that? It looks like a 24-hour dial. I've looked for threads on this and so far have not found anyone to explain it.But, I'm hot and heavy for a new Daytona SS --- 1116500LN. The Daytona sells on the gray market as quickly as it's offered. But, the Sky Dweller is at the moment appears to be in a buyer's market. Prices are not as outrageous --- given that the MSRP is actually higher than the Daytona. Which would you rather have? Why? I guess one answer will be that the Sky Dweller is available right now for a decent price --- I've seen $16,300 for BNIB.My wife would kill me if I were to buy 2 new Rolexes. I can hardly remember to keep one watch wound --- but keeping up with 2 would be crazy if both were going to be worn alternately depending on mood or dre
