Does this bracelet look OK to you guys?
So I'm considering buying this preowned bracelet for my 42mm Offshore. Local cash deal. Seller is willing to meet at the AD so they can have a look at it also, but I think i trust you guys more than a sales rep at an AD.So condition is supposed to be 99%. Anything jump out at you guys as a red flag? Any obvious authenticity issues? Thanks in advance! Your advice is much appreciated.
Newest of 2011 - Planet Ocean
After much debate, I decided to go with the 42.5 - I like the proportions of the dial better than the 45.5. I almost went 45, but aesthetically, I like this one. Something about the size of the minute markers to the negative space on the dial make me like the smaller dial better. And it fits better - who am I kidding. I also put them both next to a DateJust and the 45 made the DJ smaller than I had hoped - I still want a SS DJ, if you can't tell. And I like the matte dial - I always have. I like it better than the LM version, too.Let me know what you think...No unboxing - I don't have that kind of patience. And last - the wrist shot. You can see why I didn't go 45 - my wrists just can't do this one like a Panerai. Those fit - this at 45 didn't.Thanks for looking and thanks for all the earlier comments.Rob
Buying a 114060 for the 97200
Has anyone else bought a sub for it's bracelet? With my current lineup I don't think I would wear it too often but switch the bracelet onto the BLNR which at present gets no wrist time due to the bracelet being or too big or too small (glidelock has spoiled me), added bonus would be no PCL's.Have tried just sourcing a 97200 but that seems to be impossible. Sub on a nato strap might also get more wrist time come summer, only upside as I see it.
Advice re repair info please
I would appreciate a little advice please. Be much appreciated. We're in the UK, in Edinburgh Scotland.I bought a 116201 oyster bimetal rose gold white roman dial (used) from a reputable Rolex offical outlet a couple of years ago. I gave it to my father as a present. He dropped it and it stopped working so he took it into said retailer. We assumed (and I believe he was told) it was sent to Rolex. Had an email today (from the retailer) with no info from Rolex but advising new glass and crown as well as a service. We were not aware either of those were damaged. The email says The Rolex watch you left with us has been professionally examined by head watch technicians then goes on to say Rolex have advised the replacement parts.I have asked them to forward info from Rolex which has so far been met with silence. I feel as though they are pushing the additions which might be unnecessary. Should we be given info from Rolex and/or can we contact Rolex to discuss the work? You can imagine for ex

Anyone know what MSRP price has gone up the most in the last 15-20 years?
