Boucheron Bestiary Ronde Seconde Folle Collection, The Chameleon, Frog, And Owl Watches
I wrote about these watches individually on Luxistwatches-dealer but wanted to discuss the Boucheron Bestiary Ronde Seconds Folle collection as a whole here. I had a distinct thought when I first saw this collection. It took me back to being a child at Disney Land here in California. Disney had (and I don't know if they do anymore) the ability to create a distinct type of fantasy character often via anthropomorphic with the ability to create a fond sense of some type of ambiguous nostalgia. In a nutshell, that means classic Disney cartoon characters have a way of making you feel good and friendly, and you are not always sure why. I see a bit of of this sentiment in these cartoon-like animal character in the Boucheron Bestiary collection (really they could have used a better term that bestiary - seriously not friendly enough a term, plus we are talking about only three animals). This is especially evident in the frog and the owl. Is there not something a bit Disney-esque about them? Then
I'm one of you now, my new PO :)
Well I finally did it, bought my first Omega! I've really liked the orange bezel 42 PO since it came out a few years back, I had shopped them a few times but never actually pulled the trigger.Found this one locally, original owner, immaculate, worn once or twice, full set with box and papers at a great price. The only negative for me is that it's on a black rubber band rather than steel...I'm going to post a Want to trade bracelets in the For Sale section, hopefully someone will be interested. Also interested in other bracelet options, what do you wear yours on?Paul

My take on how Rolex fixed their "grey market" problem
For a long while now I've read countless threads on this forum about how Rolex wanted to curb grey market watch buying. In my opinion the underlying issue for Rolex and Rolex AD's was that people would window shop their AD and then go to a good old trusted seller and get the watch for less than MSRP and brag about it on this forum. I'd seen lots of responses a year ago and back where a lot of forum members would encourage going to an AD to see a watch in the flesh then say order it from X trusted seller here. This in my opinion was the real issue rolex has with the grey market in general, it diminished their brand by allowing it to sell at a discount... think of the grey seller as an outlet store of sorts. Fast forward to present times. The current thread trends on buying are exactly the opposite. Now paying full MSRP is considered the deal to be had, and the grey market is insane to most. Countless posts about how they are willing to wait on a list and will never pay about MSRP from a
