Girard-Perregaux Neo-Tourbillon with Three Bridges: 10 Things to Know
Girard-Perregaux's Tourbillon with Three Bridges has been an icon of classic design for almost 150 years. This year, the brand's signature timepiece is reborn with a radical new look. Here are 10 things to know about this futuristic masterpiece. 1. The Neo-Tourbillon features a completely redesigned caliber GP09400 that is larger than previous versions.2. The trademark bridges present a sculptural new shape. Fashioned from titanium, they are carved from a solid block of material, then skeletonized. Incoming: Royal Oak vs Daytona
Hi guysSome of you will remember that I put a collection strategy together a couple of years ago, and it's nearly complete. Today, another piece of the jigsaw arrived in the shape of the Royal Oak 15450.When choosing which Royal Oak to get, I spent a vast amount of time looking at size comparisons, and I'm glad to report I made the right choice! My wrists are 6.5 so not very big, so I was torn between 37mm and 39mm but the 37mm is perfect for me.As I really like the way the Daytona wears, I spent a lot of time looking for comparisons on the wrist between the Daytona and the 15450. So, I thought others may be in the same boat and it would be useful to share a couple of photos. The bottom line is that they both wear differently, but both work for me brilliantly, and people should forget the stigma attached to the 37mm!
