The official status of Omega’s Speedmaster Professional as that of “Moonwatch” is widely known and celebrated amongst enthusiasts and certainly by Omega themselves. Unlike many brand partnerships, the relationship between Omega and NASA has yielded real, tangible benefits, with the Speedmaster itself making appearances in each of the manned missions to the Moon, and even contributing to one of the greatest dramas of the 20th century, helping the astronauts of Apollo 13 return safely to Earth after an oxygen tank explosion two days into the mission. To gain a more personal perspective on this relationship, Omega sent us to NASA headquarters in Houston, where we had access to astronauts Jim Lovell (Gemini 7, 12; Apollo 8, 13) and Tom Stafford (Gemini 6A, 9A; Apollo 10; ASTP). Patek & Rolex Conundrum ...
I can't tell if something is wrong with me or if this is normal. I own a few Pateks including the 5167 and 5296. I've owned several Rolexes over the past few years including Datejust, Sub, Yachtmaster and sold them all due to size, thickness and comfort issues with the bracelet. I now have an opportunity to pickup a Daytona but afraid I won't like it as well and not looking forward to losing money on a flip. Has anyone else been in the position of never warming up to Rolex and only wanting to wear Patek ? I feel I should own at least one Rolex !? What gives ??

Wasn't even close to looking for this watch, but the AD brought it out whilst I was looking at a day date 40 and asked if I wanted it - tried it on and loved the green dial so went for it! Will have to make sure my next watch is ordered through them!I know there's a lot of people with these here, but you can't blame an excited watch guy for sharing his new pick up!!
