Pita Barcelona Oceana 2009 Limited Edition
Pita Barcelona will reveal their Black PVD Pita Oceana 5000m for the first time at Baselworld 2010, along with with the Stainless Steel Oceana, both from the hands of AHCI member Aniceto Jimnez Pita. The Oceana is water resistant to 5000 meters, using two patented systems for a water-entry free case: Pita-TSM (Time Setting Mechanism) and Pita-RT (Remote Transmission). No crown, no back cover, no weak points. The case measures 43mm in diameter and 21mm thick. The crystal is 8.2mm thick domed polycarbonate. Inside is the Pita-003 Movement, a heavily modified ETA-2678 featuring our two patented systems allowing time setting under water. The star-shaped seconds hand features a chromatic depth meter. The Oceana is available in stainless steel, titanium, 18 ct. Gold, or Platinum 950 and it can be fully customized to your tastes. This is a numbered series of 80 pieces.
Went with the diver
So I went with the diver! I've had the watch for about four days. So far, I'm very pleased and surprised by the finish of the watch. Just flat out impeccable! The slight arch of the octagonal bezel is clean and complex. The polished surfaces play nicely against the satin matte surfaces. Using gold screws to add that little pop and surprise! So far I'm gaining about 8 seconds a day. Hopefully, this levels out a bit. I'm curious how accurate your watches are?
Ploprof 600 pressure test
Well,I changed the seals in my Ploprof myself, some of you might remember?I had it pressure tested earlier to 90m, but I felt I could do better.... So today it passed what the dial says... 600m! I guess it's safe to take it diving!
Does this sound right?
Hello all first time poster I hang back in the weeds reading all the good information. I recently purchased a watch for my Dad and had to order it through Omega not a problem was told 4 weeks all good. Fast forward 5 weeks later the Omega rep is telling us now that it will be another 4 weeks but a shipment is coming from the factory in a week. However they can't or won't tell us if the watch is going to be included in the shipment. Huh? I feel like I'm on an island here maybe this is common or I'm just being a jerk customer? If anyone has had any experience like this help me not feel like Omega is putting the screws to me, lol. Thanks this board is amazing great info and great folks. BTW two Omega's in the collection 1966 Connie Pie Pan and a 40th Anniversay Bond watch.
Daytona "Winner's Watch" - 24H LeMans und 24H Daytona
Not found any threads to, so sorry if it is a duplicate. Are there any Drivers Winners Watches on the market? I searched a lot but never found one for sale. How are the prices estimated? Is there any data, results etc.? Does any of you have one? Since how long Rolex is giving in Le Mans and Daytona the watches? 1991 is this correct? In Le Mans at the 24H race at the exhibiting Rolex dealer (by the way, every year another French dealer who gets the store) I asked if they engrave my Daytona with the 24H logo, he just smiled ;-)I'm curious, thanks for replays
