Knights of Gold: Roger Dubuis Excalibur Roundtable
With another season of HBO’s medieval fantasy drama “Game of Thrones” currently airing, it seems an appropriate time to revisit a timepiece from Roger Dubuis‘s flagship Excalibur collection, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Round Table, a limited-edition model distinguished by its 12 sculptural “knights” stationed at each hour marker.Introduced at SIHH 2013 in Geneva, the watch depicts a scene from the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, the inspiration for the Excalibur family. Its colorful dial, whose design comes from a reproduction of the Arthurian Round Table made for King Henry VIII and placed in the Grand Hall of his castle in Winchester, is made of grand feu enamel. Arranged in a circle around the “table,” replacing each of the traditional hour markers, are 12 three-dimensional knight figures, cast in gold, with their fine details carved by hand, each only 7 mm tall (as in, small enough to fit under a shirt cuff).
Vintage Speedy leather strap
I thought I'd post this picture as I'd never seen the strap option for a 321 Speedy. It's a perforated, racing strap. Very different from the alligator strap currently on offer from Omega. I wonder where I can get a replica of these?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339511663.016785.jpg
5712 yearly production numbers
Hi.Does anyone know what % of 5712's made each year are PM and SS. And if so what numbers are made each year.
The strap is custom made

State of the Collection....and what to do next
Hello everyone, just wanted some input about where to go with my collection. Also willing to accept some constructive criticism on the watches I have and where maybe the collection can be tightened up. I just seriously started being able to afford nice watches, and want to avoid (any other..?) mistakes.1. Ceramic Submariner LV...absolutely love this watch, bought as a reward after 1 year of my own Business. Best bracelet in the business, pretty much spoiled all other bracelets for me. Bought from a trusted seller here.2. Speedy Pro Hesalite....Got it on the leather band (see above about bracelets), first chrono, lots of history, bought after learning my way around. No sentimental significance. Newest addition, still honeymoon. Bought from a major gray seller.3. Breitling SuperOcean II 42.....Love the blue sunburst dial, bought to wear at my wedding, great construction movement feels much nicer than other modified ETA movements (not pictured a TAG Aquaracer with some sentimental value I
