SevenFriday New Watches, The M1 & M2
After a few years of revisions and model interpretations of its original watch, Swiss SevenFriday is about to release its second model collection with the M1 and M2 watches which are due for release next month in June of 2014.The M1 and M2 are, of course, similar to the original "P" series SevenFriday watches in regard to the same 47mm wide cushion-shaped case along with overall look and feel. The M1 and M2 watches also once again use Japanese Miyota mechanical movements, but different movements here which are modified to use discs rather than hands to indicate the time.According to SevenFriday the M1 watch dial design is inspired by turbines, while the M2 is inspired by "old power measuring tools such as ammeters or old radios." For the price, the dial detail and quality of SevenFriday watches has always been impressive. This year at Baselworld 2016, Squale is introducing a pair of updated classic divers. Squale has a rich history of dive watches, and their vintage divers have become legendary amongst collectors. They are one of many brands who have capitalized on the popularity of their past by creating modern watches that borrow from their vintage classics.The first new watch for them this year is the Squalematic 60 ATM. This is a brand new model for them, but it is inspired by the glorious vintage Squale Masters of the past. The Squalematic will have the same familiar “von Buren” case style that they also used on their very popular 1521 models, but now in an updated 44mm diameter. Big watches are still in, and the new Squale is a nice addition to that market, without being gigantic. the new 42mm offshore looks more speical and red/orange accents and aracbic numbers on dial, while the 26400SO's color is most match I think, with white/silver dial matched with black index/red accents and black ceramic bezel,, what would you say out of these three?

Anyone Catch NCIS (Omega Plug)
Special Agent Anthony Dinozzo as switched to a new Omega Planet Ocean with the Orange Bezel. He used to Sport a Submariner. Not sure why the down grade . But whatever reason they sure showed the watch up close and personal at least 3 times that I saw.In the movie 'Minority Report', Detective John Anderton, played by Tom Cruise, sported a Speedmaster Professional X-33, while another Cruise incarnation in War of the Worlds saw his a vintage Omega chronograph stop as the aliens touched down on Earth. Also FBI agent Fox Mulder of the X-files has been observed with a Deville Prestige to help him keep track of Greys and other suspicious extraterrestrials, as did Robert Dean, Enemy of the state as portrayed by Will Smith.
