Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec in Black
Carl F. Bucherer’s triple-time-zone chronograph watch, the TravelTec, gets a matte-black makeover at Baselworld 2016. Previously available in steel and rose-gold variations, the newest version of the Carl F. Bucherer Patrvai TravelTec features a scratch-resistant black DLC coating. The wafer-thin but exceptionally durable DLC (diamond-like carbon) finish on the TravelTec is applied in a multi-stage process, enhancing both the scratch-resistance and shock absorption of the 46.6-mm stainless steel case as well as the stainless steel bracelet (which is outfitted with a black DLC-coated folding clasp). The dark, monotone look echoes that of the black dial, which displays three time zones simultaneously, the third by means of a central red hand pointing to a rotating 24-hour scale on the dial’s flange. In addition to the two chronograph pushers on the right side of the case, the watch features a monopusher at 10 o’clock that enables the wearer to set the third time zone in
I said goodbye to this one
I sold this guy to a dealer here in Atlanta on Friday. I had it a good while, but I wasn't wearing it anymore. It's the Fighters Navitimer. It put some money in my pocket to go out and get another.
She's gone...
Greetings TRF,I just wanted to let you know that I've sold my Omega Seamaster Professional Quartz yesterday. Since I've bought my chronograph I had to let one go and this one was chosen.Do I regret it? Not really, I know I'll probably get another one someday when I'll get a full time job and more money in the piggy bank. Was it hard? Kind of, I loved that watch dearly but the new one was, for me, a better piece to own given my new or reborn interest in watches. Would I still recommend it to somebody? Absolutely! Omega makes incredible watches and the quartz model is a one of a kind beater as well as a great everyday watch! So there it is, ladies and gentlemen, the end of the road for this one. Let's just remember the good times and keep in mind that we shall meet again someday. Until that day, this is the end, beautiful friend...Thank you for watching!
Would you rather a 5227 or 15202?
Jumbo or Calatrava what say you? 😀😀😀
