Hands-On: The Audemars Piguet Millenary Openworked, A Spectacular Design Counterpoint To The Royal Oak
Undoubtedly one of the most technically innovative watchmakers of the 20th century, Audemars Piguet is also one of its major creative forces. With the Royal Oak, they did with watches what Apple and Nike were able to do with computers and sneakers – that is, to subtly alter the usual lines of a standard product, and turn it into an icon. 1 OF 9 In fact, Audemars Piguet has been able to create not one, but two of the most recognizable timepieces of the modern era – the Royal Oak and the Millenary. So, any guesses?
Case engraving
Not too sure if appropriate but saw a nice reference for sales in Garage sales and the case engravings are very much off to my eyes. Im new to vintage, is this the norm in vintage pieces?
Explorer I for woman
My wife never wore her 34mm date, so I sold it. Her wrist is just under 15 cm. Is it possible to make the new Explorer I that small without removing permanent links? She thought the other Rolex was too girly. I'd like to buy one tomorrow if I can find one in HK, and if it can fit a small wrist
