AP 15400 suit light scratches
Hey everybody,This is probably going to sound silly, but is it safe to wear my 15400 with a suit? I seem to have some light scratches on the bracelet and have no idea how they got there. I am super careful with the piece. I heard from someone that sleeves and suit jacket rubbing against it could have caused this. Are they that sensitive? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Diver on Bracelet
So I didn't follow my own advice to fellow member orangejuicy and traded my 15400 for the diver with bracelet. It was the addition of the bracelet that sealed the deal! I have to say that it was a wise decision for me. Jordan, sorry buddy. Your turn will come! Crappy picture follows!
Best ways to sell a pre-owned watch?
Hello gents, this is my first post on TRF. I'm almost ready to dip my toes into the vast world of pre-owned watches-in this case a 3940. But before I do, I'd like to understand how I may possibly liquidate my investment. Whilst I'm nominally an 'accumulator' rather than a 'trader' nonetheless I'd like to know my possible 'exit' strategies. I may need the cash to purchase another watch from an AD for example. Or perhaps I decide that pre-owned is not for me.I see that a lot of members here have bought and sold a number of watches over time. I'd like to tap into your collective expertise and sought your advice. Thanks.BenSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Complimentary Panerai
I love my Panerai watches. It's nice to have a different case plus a different look. For example, I have a 112 (Luminor 44mm, no date, no seconds hand, sandwich dial) and a 514 (Radiomir, 50s style case, transition type model, 47mm, date and seconds). Very different watches. Both have rather flat sapphire crystals. I'm going to get a 424 next - round crystal, classic Radiomir case/lugs and very different California dial. No date of course. What are your favorite combos?
