Help identifying Royal Oak 14790ST
Supposedly it is from the late 80s - early 90s (D-serial). I love the fact it's a 36mm. I tried on the 15300 and it's just too big for me.I'm pretty sure this one is legit, however I'm not sure it's correct (is this dial type correct for this serial range, for instance?).What can you guys tell me from these pictures? A little overpolished maybe?

After spending too much time on this section of TRF I purchased my first AP a few months ago (diver). My fianc��e made me promise that it would be my last watch purchase until after our wedding (3/23/13). More than anything I wanted to wear my diver on my wedding day but really didn't want to wear it on the rubber strap. I purchased a survivor croc strap and also ordered a ROO bracelet for it but was told it was a 6 month wait for the bracelet. Knowing the the bracelet probably wouldn't be in on time I did what any AP addict would do....convinced the fianc��e I needed a new AP as my wedding day watch. It took some pleading but on Thursday I reached out to DavidSW and this morning my new AP arrived.I think I actually might like this watch more than the diver. The fit is perfect and the way light hits the dial is just amazing. Pretty sure this will be my new daily beater....and thanks to you guys the next two watches on my list are also APs. travel case for AP watch
Sometimes we need to carry our other watch or watches while travelling.AP is a big watch that I believe need a bigger case.What you guys have ?I need to buy one for travelling. Any recomendation or picture ?Thank you !

ROLEX GMT 116710 JUMP HOUR HAND cal 3186 DURABILITY
How durable is the jump hour hand for the cal 3186 GMT 116710. I'm currently adjusting the date of mine. If today is say the 3rd and my date is at 18, i have to turn so much hours in order for my date to reach 3. Cant help to worry about the wear and tear.
