German watchmaker A. Lange & S?hne has appointed Wilhelm Schmid as Chief Executive Officer effective January, 2011. Schmid, 47, a German national, has held several positions in marketing and sales over the last eight years for BMW. Since 2007, he has been responsible for sales and marketing for BMW South Africa. As CEO, Schmidt will be entrusted with further developing the Lange brand and its operations.

Got my new Speedy last week.
I've been looking for a nice chronograph watch and after trying on an IWC Spitfire chrono and not being floored by it I decided to locate a Speedmaster Co-axial chronograph, the new one with the 44.25mm case and 3313 movement. Thanks to Father John he got me in touch with the person I need to talk to about locating one of these new speedys. It arrived last Tuesday and I was able to capture some camcorder snapshots of it. I'm planning on giving it a month or so before doing a formal review of it but so far I'm very happy with it and will likely keep it. Day Date Movement Question
HI all, I believe it has been determined that the new 32xx movement will fit in a submariner case. Does anyone know if the new 32xx movement in the day date 40 will fit in the day date 36mm case?
