Breitling SuperOcean cira 1999-2000
I'm eyeing this Breitling SuperOcean being sold at TimeZone for about 1150 USD, shipped (insured) including paypal fees. This seller is the second owner of the watch, and he only had it for 30 min and realized he doesn't need a 3rd SuperOcean Professional. Box and Papers are there plus it has been serviced by Breitling and has a stamp on the booklet indicating maintenance.I know Breitlings do not have great resale value but usually my watches are keepers. Any Breitling afficonados think this is a good deal and in terms of the superocean line, they good?BTW, this is not the chronometer version.Caseback has no markings etc.Thanks.Vernon
Patek Boutique / AD survival skills
ok, as we all know the so called entry of Patek are 5167 and 5711but as we all know again, it seems like you can't find / buy a 5167 and especially 5711 blue dial at any Patek Boutique or ADneed to put our name and wait for like 3 yearsis just like cars, BMW need to sell more 3 and 5 series to sustain their business, is not like everybody buying a 7 seriesSo how do they survive? I don't feel like people just walk in and buy Grand Complications and Repeater on a monthly basis.just curious
Poll: Patek 5296g sector vs Lange 1815 Up/down
I narrowed my three choices from the last thread to these two. What do you think in this head to head?

1st Rolex Purchase Advice.
Hello all, this is my first post and I'm looking for advice that's applicable to a first time purchase in the UK.I'm looking to buy my first Rolex and ideally I'd like the Seadweller Anniversary, if that's not going to be an option due to waiting times, a seadweller of any type be it the ordinary or deep blue. What I'd really like to know is should I expect to pay the rrp or as was the case when my brother bought a brand new navitimer he recieved a discount of 21% off the rrp.If anyone as any advice or recommendations of AD that they have had good service from within the UK I'd love to have your advice and experiences. Thanks Richard
