Rpaige Crash Of 29 Watch Designed By Mark Carson
?? ? Sponsored postRichard Paige, of Rpaige Watch Co., and Mark Carson have teamed up to create the wildly art deco Rpaige "Crash of '29" watch which is being funded on Kickstarter. Mark designed the case, dial, and hands, and the watches will feature the restored vintage or antique American pocket watch movements which Richard uses in his Rpaige watches. The Genesis Of The Project:Richard Paige: After the successful introduction of my Duo-Face reversible watch, where Mark designed the case for me, I challenged him to come up with something unexpected. I really wanted to be surprised.Mark Carson: I know that Richard is a huge art deco fan and that his Wrocket line of wrist watches have art deco detailing. I'd done the design for an art deco watch a couple of years back but it was dimensioned around a smaller movement.RP: I knew that whatever Mark came up with, it had to use the vintage American pocket watch movements that I lovingly restore and craft into my Rpaige watches.Rpaige Crash

5205R black dial or white dial ?
Hi friends, just wanted to see preferences, I plan on placing a deposit on a 5205R but not sure what dial, I'm split 50/50 between the black and white. What would you take ?
18138 Dial Question
I was wondering if anyone might know what type of dial I have on a 18138 I just purchased. To the eye it looks like Mother of Pearl, but in photos you can see the ROLEX repeated throughout, like an Anniversary style dial. The photos were taken at slightly different angles. In the Tuesday one it looks more MOP, in the Monday one it looks more Anniversary style. Thanks for any input.
How accurate is your watch?
I have just purchased a submariner and am very pleased with it so far.I have a question about accuracy though. I recently noticed that it is gaining about 5 secs per day. Is this normal? I had assumed that any time loss would be much smaller. Am I barking mad or is my watch dodgy? Many thanksJay
