Bracelet tight
on AP hornback strap either too tight (hole 4) or too loose (hole 5)i prefer too tight because no slip on wristis this bad for springbars ? if tight, is there tension on the springbars ? will it break after some years or not ?dont want it coming off wrist then it will be very loose thank you ...
New Speedmaster 9300 Incoming...
Can't wait!
232 stopped winding
These watches are beautiful, last serviced in 2015, I bought it used, and it stopped winding today, I'm guessing main spring.any idea on service cost now? I assume best plan is to go to Panerai for this?I've had my 005 service twice (once for condensation from a pool) I might have to go back to Rolex. my sub date takes a beating.
New vs Old Deepsea Bracelet Comparo In Photos
I'm not savvy enough to set these up parallel to see the difference easier so if any one can line them up better, have at it.Here's a comparison between the old and the new. Old is the first photo and the new being the second. Apologies for the dimension differences in the photos. It's a pia trying to reduce the size for the forum and get the measurements similar.Lugs look marginally thinner and bracelet slightly wider with less taper maybe...The more I stare the more I can't see the actual difference. This is going to take real watches. Opinions and observations are welcomed.
Sub Date caseback openned by hand
Has anyone experienced this before? Today I accidentally managed to open the caseback of my Sub Date by hand. Not sure how long it had not been tightly screwed down. I was frightened. Fortunately to my eye the movement looks still clean. The watch has been my daily beater since 2003, though recently other Rolexes get more wrist. Since it has never been serviced I now intend to bring it to the RSC.
